Tasting Notes:

This Barbados rum is a pale golden amber color with deep aromas of dates, apricot, honey, and lemon thyme.

With a warming, slightly prickly texture the fruity pot still notes are brought forward, while the mid-palate is all baking spice.

The wood influence shows on the finish with notes of leather, varnish, and herbal oak.

 

History of the Cask:
A truly unique expression of Foursquare Rum, being one of the very few Pot Still rums of this old age. The Rum was distilled in 2002 after which it was filled into an American white oak cask at the distillery. In 2002 the cask traveled the Atlantic Ocean towards the United Kingdom for further maturation in the historic docks of Liverpool.
